Patient Portal

PVMC’s MyHealth Patient Portal allows you to review your medical records online. Research your diagnosis and test results, be better prepared to talk with your doctor, and make knowledgeable, informed decisions about your health. MyHealth is secure, easy to use, and available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

If you would like to enroll in the MyHealth Patient Portal, you may enroll in person. Drop by the Health Information Management / Medical Records Department window (which is located on the first floor of the hospital), Monday-Friday, from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Frequently Asked Questions about the MyHealth Patient Portal

What is a patient portal?
A patient portal allows you to access your up-to-date medical records, including test results, via the internet from your computer, tablet or smart phone.

How safe is my medical information online?
PVMC’s MyHealth patient portal incorporates the most effective security measures available for protecting your information, including encryption of data using a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) system. Selecting a secure password as you go through the enrollment process is also key to your protection. Be assured we do not sell or rent any personal information we receive through your use of your MyHealth patient portal.

How do I access the MyHealth patient portal once I’ve enrolled?
Log in with the user name and password you created during your enrollment.

What if I have questions about my test results?
Your doctor will be able to help you understand your test results and how they pertain to your health. However, your MyHealth patient portal gives you instant access to a comprehensive, up-to-date medical library enabling you to look up medical terms and abbreviations.

Is PVMC’s patient portal the same as the one I use for my doctor’s office?
No. Many physician offices maintain their own patient portals, which require a separate log-in and password.

Can I communicate with my doctor online?
At this time, the MyHealth Patient Portal does not allow electronic communication with your physician.  If you need to speak with your provider, please call them directly. In the event of an emergency, please dial 911 immediately.

How can I access older results?
You can access records from February 20, 2013 forward through the MyHealth Patient Portal. If you need to request older records or your full legal medical record, please call (303) 498-1640 or visit About My Test Results 

What does the MyHealth Patient Portal let me do?
The MyHealth Patient Portal offers fast electronic access to many of your test results. As a registered user, you will be able to:

  • View your lab and radiology results, as well as reports dictated by your doctor;
  • Research your diagnosis and access a vast consumer health library, including interactive health tools, wellness centers, medication library, and videos of procedures and tests;
  • Find a doctor;
  • Pay your bill;
  • Request a copy of your full legal medical record;
  • And share a compliment with our staff.

Some results may not be available inside the Portal either because of their sensitive nature or their timing. Your physician will review these results with you individually. You can also request a legal copy of your full medical record by calling (303) 498-1640.

How long do I have to wait to get my test results?
Typically, test results and documents are available within two to three days.

How do I change my password?
To change your password, click the “Change Password” link on the MyHealth Patient Portal home page. You will be prompted to enter your old password and confirm your new password by typing it twice. Your new password will be set when you click OK.

How do I change my address/phone number/email address?
To update your personal information, click the “Profile” link at the top of the MyHealth Portal home page. This will bring up your User Information page. Click the “Edit User” button at the bottom of this page, and you will be able to change your date of birth, address, phone numbers, and email address.

What do I do if I still have questions?
If you have a question about your test results, please call your doctor’s office directly. Your doctor will be able to help you understand your test results and how they pertain to your health.
