As one of the few remaining community-owned, nonprofit hospitals in Colorado, PVMC is not owned or operated by a large healthcare system but governed by a community board of directors where decisions are made at a local level.

The mission of Platte Valley Medical Center is to provide excellent quality comprehensive health services, which are affordable, convenient, and responsive to community needs.

Our Vision

Platte Valley Medical Center will become an integral component in the foundation of the communities it serves. PVMC will provide leadership, outreach, education, health services, and resources to improve the overall health status of the community.
